This trip was a three-woman trip for me, my mom, and my cousin. We flew to Korea together. There weren't many fancy or tight arrangements in the plan, but we agreed early on that "we must wear hanbok once to take photos as a souvenir." So we chose the most representative Korean historic site, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and paired it with hanbok to leave the most beautiful memories of this trip.

To be honest, I have never been very confident about taking photos. I always feel that I tend to be stiff in front of the camera, and I can't make good expressions and poses. I'm not sure if wearing hanbok will look unnatural. So when we planned the shoot, I was actually both excited and nervous.

He is especially good at capturing some natural moments, such as when I turned my head, smiled with my head down, and adjusted my skirt, he just caught the "best angle". One of the photos was when my head fell down slightly, and I smiled a little playfully at that moment, without deliberately pretending to be cute, but it unexpectedly became my favorite photo this time! The photographer immediately said, "You will definitely like this photo, it's so touching." As a result, his words really came true.

Another time, I suddenly had an idea and said, "I want to play a princess on the run!" After saying that, I really started jogging, my skirt fluttered, and my hair was blown by the wind. Unexpectedly, the photographer also followed and captured that scene without panic. Later, when I saw the photo, I was really amazed. It was not just a beautiful composition, but a story-telling picture.

🏯 Every corner of Gyeongbokgung Palace has our story

Although it was cloudy and the light was not as bright as on a sunny day, it also gave the photo a layer of gentle gray tones, which was particularly suitable for the quaint Gyeongbokgung Palace. Without strong shadows or scorching sun, the overall picture looks more gentle and layered.

We took a group of photos near the palace gate. The angle was just right to use the door frame as a composition element, which looked very grand.
