🙋🏻 Introducing our Tour Mate

  • Hello. I am Sojin Park, who has been working as a docent at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) since 2019. Currently, I am in charge of interpreting the exhibition 'Back to the Future' at MMCA Seoul. Previously, I interpreted the exhibitions <Unearth Future> at MMCA Deoksugung and <Modern Design> at MMCA Gwacheon. I feel rewarded when I see visitors' eyes light up after hearing my interpretations or when I engage in diverse discussions about the artworks with them. I would be happier if I could share rich stories about artworks with people from different cultures and backgrounds around the world. Just like the Hollywood movie 'Back to the Future,' would you like to go on a journey with me to the past? Besides the 'Back to the Future' exhibition, I will guide you through the museum and other exhibitions as well :)

🕰️ Simple Procedure Guide

  • Guided tour listening to explanations about the works of Korean contemporary art artists who were active from the late 1990s to the early 2000s

  • Discussing topics emerging from exhibitions (identity, past/present/future, etc.)

  • Touring the museum and viewing other exhibitions together (no guided explanations provided)

  • Taking natural and hip photos inside the museum
