Anmok Beach Coffee Street
Anmok Beach Coffee Street is a must-visit attraction in Gangneung, known as the birthplace of Korean coffee culture and the most famous spot. There are many cafes lined up, and you can leisurely enjoy coffee on a cafe terrace overlooking the sea, or take a walk along Gangneung’s beach with a take-out coffee.

Ojukheon
This is the birthplace of Yulgok Yi I (pen name: Yulgok), a scholar and politician of the Joseon Dynasty. Built in the early Joseon period, it was designated as a treasure in 1963 and has historical value.
Inside the house is Mongryongsil, where Yulgok was born, as well as various buildings such as Munseongsa (family shrine), Sarangchae (men’s quarters), Eojaegak, Yulgok Memorial Hall, and Gangneung City Museum.
