If you don't speak Korean, I recommend opting for the translation option, as the color explanations are more professional. This time, I also opted for the makeup service, which I loved!
The appointment was scheduled for 11:00 AM, so I was able to get my makeup done and start the day right. It was fantastic!

The environment is great! There is a Chinese translator, so communication is very good! The location is also easy to find, just a 3-minute walk from the subway station, very convenient!

The translator and the teacher were very friendly. I was very satisfied with the whole process and the service was very useful. I especially recommend the skin analysis, which made me understand my skin needs better, and recommended very useful masks and skin care products to me. I have sensitive skin and am more prone to allergies, but every skin care product recommended to me by the teacher is very suitable for me, which is amazing!

The BOM is located a short walk from Myeongdong Station Exit 2. It was a little bit confusing to find at first, as they actually have two locations close by. This one is accessible either by entering into a building near Exit 2, or walking a bit further up on the street that 7-Eleven is on.

I was greeted by the consultant and an English translator who we're both very friendly. We started with the color analysis which lasted about 30 minutes in total, including 15 minutes of draping.  They even have a camera stand set up so they can record your whole draping session. At the end of the session, they provided you with some makeup product suggestions and also emailed you a detailed analysis. I found this to be quite helpful.

I also signed up for the skin analysis but this is where I was quite disappointed. I went in thinking that I would be provided with a detailed list of products (or ingredients list) of what would work best for my skin type. What happened instead was a super quick overview of my skin type based on a scan they did, and then the consultant preceded with pulling out Klairs products which they sell at their store.  She told me that you cannot get Klairs products at Olive Young and could only purchase it at her store.  So in essence, she was only able to recommend products her store sold, and didn't actually tell me what type of ingredients or products I should be using. This obviously wouldn't work well for me if I can't purchase these products elsewhere. I was also not given any reports on the scan that they did. She didn't even show me what came up on her screen and only talked about it with me. I would not recommend this service.
