The teacher was very cheerful and it was great.
I was able to make about half the amount of cabbage I would have made in Japan, using the same size.
The building was lovely, and the kimchi pancakes and omija tea were delicious.
I'm looking forward to eating the kimchi.
I'd like to go again.

What a great opportunity to learn how to make Kimchi! The facility is an older house (over 100 years old!) with beautiful exposed wood throughout. The instructor was very kind and clear, explaining the history of Kimchi, the different varieties, and traditions around the dish. We enjoyed taking home our own handmade kimchi and are grateful to now know how to make our own once we get back home! 

Highly recommend Seoul Kimchi Academy for a unique experience when visiting Seoul.

I have been to Korea many times and this was the first time I experienced making kimchi. The teacher was very cute and attentive and explained it to us clearly!
When I went there that day, there happened to be a century-old snowfall. The teacher also prepared schisandra tea. The kimchi pancakes at the end were also delicious. It was a great experience. The kimchi was also completely sealed, so it was safe to put the luggage without leaking!
