Our Visit

Today, I visited Weave Suites – Sunyu Parkside, just a one-minute walk from Seonyudo Station on Line 9.

This serviced apartment offers 157 suite-style rooms along with a variety of community facilities, creating an all-in-one lifestyle space where you can work, relax, and enjoy leisure activities all in one place.

The biggest advantage is its unbeatable location. With the subway so close, you can reach anywhere in Seoul quickly and conveniently. There’s also an airport bus stop right in front of the building, making it an ideal choice for foreigners planning a long-term stay.

When you step into the building, the reception desk is the first thing that greets you.

The reception is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, making it easy to check in or ask questions during those hours. Even outside of reception hours, security staff are on site and CCTV runs 24/7, ensuring that the facilities remain safe and accessible at all times.

It was very reassuring to see that the most important part of living in a new place—security—is taken care of so thoroughly.

To get a proper look around, I first took the elevator down to the basement level. This is where all of the community facilities—one of the biggest highlights of Weave Suites – Sunyu Parkside—are located.

The best part is that every facility here is completely free and available for all residents to use, which is a huge plus.

🎯 Introduction to Community Facilities

(Lounge / Work Space / Meeting Room / Shared Kitchen / Entertainment Room / Golf Practice Range / Gym / Yoga Studio / Rooftop)

This is the Lounge, located at the center of the first basement floor. It’s open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is a popular spot for everything from relaxing to working or studying. With its warm wood-toned interior, the lounge gives off a cozy, comfortable atmosphere.

Whether you’re here to get some work done or simply unwind, it feels like a space where you can naturally stay focused.

This is the ‘Work Space’ located right next to the lounge!

There are several large tables, and each seat is equipped with outlets, making it the perfect environment for working on a laptop.

Although it’s a shared space, it’s kept very tidy and well-managed, so it left an impression of a pleasant atmosphere where you can stay for long periods without discomfort.

This is also one of the ‘Work Space’ areas set up on the other side of the lounge, and you can use it freely. It felt just like being in a quiet café, making it the perfect space to open your laptop for some light work or to read a book.

It also felt like a really nice place to spend a leisurely time with a cup of coffee.

This is the ‘Meeting Room’!

There are two in total, and you can use them freely by reserving just one hour in advance through the residents-only app. It would be really useful for doing work that requires focus in a quiet, private space, or for holding online meetings or interviews.

The space is also tidy and there’s little external noise, making it perfect for those who need privacy.

This space also gave the impression of being very thoughtfully designed—it’s a private workspace for one person! It’s sized just right for moments when you need to focus alone, making it the perfect spot for quiet work or phone calls.

Another big advantage is that you can use it freely whenever it’s available, without a reservation.

This is the ‘Shared Kitchen’!

I couldn’t help but be impressed by the clean and stylish interior as soon as I entered, and above all, I was surprised by how spacious it was. Each room has its own kitchenette and microwave, but this space is designed for more serious cooking or for when several people want to gather and eat together.

It’s a special community space for residents to cook and eat together, naturally interacting with one another!

In particular, there’s an oven in the shared kitchen that isn’t available in the rooms, so many people who enjoy serious cooking use it. Not only that, but basic utensils like cutting boards, knives, cups, and plates are all provided,  and there’s a wide variety of items prepared, from mini rice cookers and coffee pots to various seasonings, giving the impression that a lot of care has gone into this space.

Thanks to this thoughtful attention, even those who enjoy cooking as a hobby can use it comfortably without inconvenience.

The space you see right after leaving the shared kitchen, serves as a dining area during meal times, and as a comfortable lounge at other times. You can cook directly in the clean and fully equipped kitchen, and enjoying the food you’ve made in such a stylish and cozy space is a real pleasure and will surely be an unforgettable special experience :)

Now let me introduce the ‘Entertainment Room’!

This is also one of the spaces operated by reservation, and it’s a private area where you can connect your own device to the screen and enjoy OTT services.

You can use it for up to 3 hours a day, and it’s only available from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., so please keep that in mind :)

Thanks to the comfortable and cozy interior and pleasant environment, it was the perfect place to watch movies or dramas alone or in a small group!

This time, let me introduce a space where the golf practice range, gym, and yoga studio are all gathered together!

All of these facilities are located on the basement first floor, so it was really attractive that you can conveniently enjoy various community facilities all at once.

It's a perfect space not only for those who love to exercise, but also for anyone who wants to start a new hobby.

Right in front of the golf practice range, there is also a personal locker area, so you can use it conveniently! You can safely store your workout gear or personal belongings, so it feels even more reassuring.

This is the inside view of the 'golf practice range'!

The golf practice range also operates on a reservation basis, and among the community facilities introduced so far, Only three places—the meeting room, entertainment room, and golf practice range—require reservations. Please note that the other facilities are available for free use :) Also, golf clubs are provided, so you can use the facility without worrying even if you don't have your own equipment.

A huge advantage was that you can use it for free inside the building without having to look for an external golf practice range.

There is another door inside the golf practice range,

This is the 'golf room', a private space where you can actually play a game!  It's a space where you can enjoy golf more fun in game mode as well as practice. If you like golf, I thought it would be great to use it with friends for a casual round.

Now, let's take a look at the 'gym' right next to the golf practice range!

When I walked in, the space was much deeper and wider than I expected, so I was really surprised!

There is a variety of equipment and everything is well maintained and clean, so when I visited, there were actually a few residents working out.

Above all, if you register at an outside gym, the price can be a burden and for foreigners, the communication or procedures can feel complicated. But here, any resident can use it freely, which was really attractive.

This is the 'yoga studio' right next to the gym!

As you would expect from a yoga studio, one wall is entirely covered with mirrors, so you can check your posture and movements yourself. Yoga mats are also provided, so you can use the studio conveniently without having to bring your own. Especially since both the gym and yoga studio are open 24 hours,

Being able to work out anytime according to your own routine is a big advantage and a unique charm of this place!

Now for the last community facility, I went up to the 'rooftop' located on the 14th floor!

Even before opening the door, the view through the window was so beautiful that I was really looking forward to it. When I actually opened the door and stepped outside, the view was so stunning that I couldn't help but be amazed! Above all, the landscaping is so carefully and beautifully done that even just staying for a moment felt refreshing.

Plus, resident community events are often held in this space, so it's more than just a place to relax. I thought it was being used as a place that provides special experiences and memories!

Especially from the rooftop, you can look out over the Han River, so if you relax here, it would be a perfect day :)

All of these spaces are community facilities that you can use without any extra cost! Isn't that amazing?

Rooms

From now on, I’ll introduce the four types of rooms one by one! First, to go up to the guest room floors, you need to tag your room card key in the elevator to access them. With such strict security management, I felt that residents could live here with peace of mind. The rooms are lined up along a clean and well-maintained hallway, creating a very organized and stable atmosphere.

Single Room - Urban Plus Suite

The first room I’ll introduce is the ‘Urban Plus Suite,’ a single room type with a larger space and a terrace. The moment I entered the room, I was amazed by the warm and luxurious atmosphere created by the stylish interior. Also, the regular weekly housekeeping service ensures you can always live in a clean and pleasant environment, which was really impressive.

Even though it’s a studio layout, the terrace made it feel much more open. I thought it was spacious enough to spend a little healing time here at the end of a busy day.

Above all, I was surprised again when I saw the bed. Both the bed and bedding are of hotel-grade quality, so it felt like comfortable rest was guaranteed. Moreover, all rooms have beds with a lift-up function, so the storage capacity was excellent. There was enough storage space to easily keep a year’s worth of belongings, even for long-term stays.

Also, every room is equipped with a smart TV, so you can freely enjoy OTT services using your personal account, which was also attractive.

The wardrobe was also quite spacious, so there was no need to worry about storage even for long stays. I really liked the layout that allows you to neatly organize seasonal clothes and various personal items while living here.

This is the kitchenette.

It was equipped with basic tableware, a microwave, an electric kettle, and even a washer-dryer for both washing and drying clothes. With all the necessary appliances and items provided like this. It was an environment where you could easily handle not only simple meals but also basic household chores needed for daily life. I was especially impressed that you could start living right away without having to bring or buy a lot of things.

Also, right next to the kitchenette, there was a large refrigerator and freezer!

It wasn’t just a typical mini fridge, but truly spacious for living alone, which left a strong impression. For long-term residents who need to store a lot of food, I thought this was a very practical and special feature. This kind of thoughtful consideration seems to be one of the charms of Weave Suites :)

Next to the wardrobe, there was also a generously sized desk for work. Thanks to the spaciousness, it was perfect for working or studying without discomfort even for long periods. Also, I was surprised again to see that the stand lamp, mirror, and above all, the hair dryer were all Dyson products!

You could feel the attention to detail and quality even in the smallest parts, making it a space that anyone would be satisfied with.

Near the entrance, there was also a shoe cabinet with plenty of storage space, which made practical use of every corner of the space!

Especially when living in a studio, a cramped shoe cabinet can make life quite inconvenient. But here, thanks to the ample storage space, I thought you could live comfortably without such worries.

The layout allows you to neatly organize everything from small items to shoes, which really enhances the quality of life.

Lastly, let me introduce the bathroom area.

Overall, it was a clean and spacious bathroom, and with the toilet, sink, and shower all separated, it looked much more convenient to use. A bidet was also installed as standard, so even for long-term stays, you could use it comfortably without worrying about hygiene.

Seeing that even these details were taken care of, I thought it was a perfectly prepared space in every way.

Single Room - Urban Suite

This time, let me introduce the most basic single room, the ‘Urban Suite’! Compared to the ‘Urban Plus Suite,’ the only differences are that it’s slightly smaller and doesn’t have a terrace; the basic layout and facilities are all the same.

From my experience entering both rooms, I didn’t feel much difference in size!

You could also feel the openness provided by the floor-to-ceiling windows, and a personal workspace was equally provided!

There were even drawers under the bar table for extra storage, so the details that maximized storage capacity in a small space were truly impressive.

It felt like they really understood the importance of storage that you realize when actually living there, so I thought there would be no need to worry about storage at all.

The wardrobe was also provided in the same size, and the bathroom and shoe cabinet were configured the same as the ‘Urban Plus Suite’.

I’ve omitted photos of those parts, so please keep that in mind :)

2-person room - Premium Suite Double

Now it’s time to introduce the 2-person room,

This is the ‘Premium Suite Double’ type, which features a double-size bed!

Right behind the bed, there’s a small bar-style table for two, making efficient use of the limited space, which was impressive.

Overall, it’s the perfect size and layout for two people to live in. It looked more than sufficient for couples, friends, or even colleagues on long business trips to live together.

Or, it would also be a great choice for someone who wants to live alone in a more spacious area!

Here too, the bed has a lift-up structure for storage, and above all, since the bed is larger than in the single rooms. It felt spacious enough to store all the belongings that two people might accumulate while living together.

Just like the single rooms, there was a well-equipped kitchenette and workspace, and the bathroom, shoe cabinet, and other options were the same.

The only difference is a slightly larger space, while the basic convenience and facilities remain the same. So even with two people living together, it seemed like you could live comfortably without any inconvenience!

2-person room - Premium Suite Queen

Now, let me introduce the ‘Premium Suite Queen’ room, which is the largest among the 2-person rooms and comes with a queen-size bed!

This room has a separate living area with a sofa, giving it a more spacious feel compared to other types.

Also, there was a storage table under the TV, and the layout allowed you to comfortably watch TV while sitting on the sofa.

So it gave the impression of being a spacious and comfortable place for two people to live together.

The table in the living room also has a lift-up function, making it great for simple meals or as a laptop desk!

It was really impressive to see how practical ideas were incorporated into every part of the space.

Likewise, the other spaces are the same as elsewhere, so please keep that in mind :)

Recommended attractions nearby

Yanghwa Hangang Park (Seonyudo Park)

Let me introduce a local spot near ‘Weave Suites’ that I recommend!

It’s ‘Yanghwa Hangang Park (Seonyudo Park)’, located about a 10-minute walk from the accommodation!

Although it’s right in the middle of downtown Seoul, it’s a place where you can feel a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. The big attraction is that you can enjoy nature up close in the city and stay like a true Seoul local.

It’s perfect not only for walks, but also for cycling, jogging, running, or picnics.

Above all, the fact that it’s not crowded and you can relax quietly is a huge plus. Just having such a relaxing space within a 10-minute walk from the accommodation. Made me think it’s the perfect environment to live like a real ‘Seoul local’ during a month-long stay.

So today, I visited ‘Weave Suites – Sunyu Parkside’ in person,

After seeing the facilities with my own eyes, it was such a perfect space that I wanted to move in right away :)
