Our Visit
There are two 8Seconds branches in Myeongdong, and today I stopped by the Myeongdong Branch. It’s right on the main street, so it’s easy to find, and with lots of shops and food spots around, it’s a great place to shop.
The Myeongdong Branch has four floors, from B1 to the third floor, so there’s plenty of space to look around.
B1 has spacious fitting rooms, so it’s easy to try things on even when the store is busy. There’s also a sofa nearby, perfect for anyone waiting with you to relax.
The 1st and 2nd floors are dedicated to women’s clothing, offering everything from clean, sophisticated styles to bold, trendy pieces.
Along with the mannequins, there were styled outfits displayed throughout the store, which made it easier to get outfit ideas while shopping.
8Seconds carries a wide range of fashion items—not just clothes, but also bags, hats, socks, and shoes—so you can complete your whole look in one place.
There’s also a discount section on the 2nd floor, so don’t forget to take a look while you’re there.
The 3rd floor features a wide selection of men’s clothing, with plenty of styles to choose from.
There were lots of men’s accessories too, like bags and hats. I know it’s a men’s hat—but isn’t it cute?

If you’re planning to get a tax refund, you can issue a refund voucher at the Global Blue Tax Refund kiosk on the 3rd floor. Getting some money back while shopping feels like a win-win!
The cash register is on the first floor, and if you spend over 15,000 KRW and show your passport, you can get an immediate tax refund right there.

Overall, the 8Seconds Myeongdong store was spacious and made shopping really enjoyable. Fitting rooms were available on every floor except the first, so it was easy to try on anything I was curious about. Most of all, the immediate refund is a big plus for travelers in Korea.
