Our Visit

Today, I visited the one-person scrubbing shop 'Spa Heum' located in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu.

'Spa Heum' is a women's premium one-person body care shop where you can receive body care and massages in a private setting.

It was very luxurious from the entrance, so I was looking forward to it.

The interior of the store was clean yet elegant, making it feel like we were in an art museum.

There was a variety of oils displayed at the counter used in 'Spa Heum'.

Additionally, makeup remover, cleansing products, hair ties, face cool packs, etc. were provided when needed, showing attentive care for customers.

'Spar Heum' has a total of 8 courses.

The editor decided to receive the 'Real Gold Course' today.

'Real Gold Course' includes a formulation with adenosine ampoule that helps with wrinkle reduction and elasticity,

Milk body scrub -> Body ampoule care -> Moisturizing massage -> Hair care -> Facial care is carried out in that order.

'Spa Heum' consists of all spaces designed as private rooms, allowing for comfortable and pleasant management.

After confirming our entry, we were immediately directed to the private room, and I felt that a lot of attention was paid to the details, as there was a separate entrance for customers.

After entering the private room, I changed into slippers, undressed, and put my clothes in the styler.

Please note that you can press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds to start the styler!

Slippers are intended for use within the room or bathroom, so they cannot be worn inside the bath.

The floor is slippery, so please be careful to avoid accidents!

Once ready, I entered the treatment room and found a warm bath prepared in the tub, along with tea also ready.

There are two methods for gaining weight: wet and dry, and the editor chose wet in advance.

'Spa Heum' also recommended wet food, and most customers say they use wet food.

Drying is recommended for those who are on their period.

You can warm up for about 10 minutes in the bath.

The water temperature was just right, and it was nice to have a cup of tea when it was stuffy or hot to help soothe me.

After swelling my body, I lay down on the table.

Usually, a cleansing takes about 30 to 40 minutes.

First, I proceeded with washing with water.

When cleansing, instead of scrubbing vigorously, I proceeded with the cleansing at a moderate strength, which did not put any strain on the skin at all.

After washing with water, a warm milk that even children can use is applied, known as 'milk washing'.

Unlike regular public bathhouses, the scrub effectively removes dead skin even with gentle rubbing, so please choose a scrub towel suitable for your skin type and let us know if you experience any discomfort.

The editor delicately removed the calluses from the heels as there were calluses present.

After the cleansing, they applied milk all over my body.

If you apply milk to your body, it is said to have moisturizing and whitening effects!

After applying the milk, I rinsed my body once, with my back being rinsed for me and I rinsed the front myself.

While rinsing myself, you immediately organized and cleaned the shower area and the items used.

The hygiene management was thorough, which made it even more satisfying.

After lying down on the clean massage table again, you covered my whole body with a warm towel and gave me a massage.

The managers have worked in the aesthetic field for a long time, and I felt that the intensity control was appropriate and the care was delicate.

After a certain amount of massage has been done, they removed the warm towel and applied the 'Adenosine Ampoule' exclusive to the Real Gold Course, continuing with the massage.

For reference, the products used during the cleansing are all handmade products from 'Spa Home', which are excellent for moisturizing and soothing, and are suitable for sensitive skin or

They say it's suitable for dry people.

In particular, the 'Real Gold Course' experienced by the editor is made with edible 24k real gold, frankincense aroma oil, and coconut oil.

I recommend using a handmade oil in a nighttime form, especially for those with sensitive or dry skin.

By carefully massaging along the lymphatic circulation, I felt my body becoming much lighter.

As the tension in my muscles relaxed, it felt like the fatigue was fading away, and the gentle pressure stimulated a sensation of toxins and waste being expelled from my body.

Additionally, the intensity control throughout the massage was carefully adjusted, making it refreshing without being overwhelming.

You washed my hair while the pack was absorbing.

After shampooing, you applied a hair pack and did a thorough scalp massage.

I really liked that at 'Spa Heum' I could get not only a full-body massage but also a scalp massage.

After rinsing your hair and removing the mask from your face, you applied essence to your body and finally performed a massage.

The editor tends to have dry skin, so they aplicated milk all over their body once again.

After applying, the remaining milk was generously poured into my hands to apply on my face.

After all courses are finished, just like before, the back part of the body was rinsed by the staff, and the front part was rinsed by myself.

I appreciated that you were considerate of these aspects while receiving care without it feeling burdensome.

When moving from the changing room to the powder room, I felt like I was being treated well the whole way because the staff member held my hand and guided me due to the slippery floor.

When I entered the powder room, I found afternoon tea prepared, and after taking a sip, my body and mind felt even more at ease.

I dried my body with the prepared body dryer, getting into every nook and cranny.

The button in the center is the power button, and to the left of the power button is the cooling mode, while to the right is the heating mode, which is great because you can adjust it to your preference.

You can turn on the fan located behind you if it’s hot while drying off.

After drying off your body, you can use the products that are provided.

The Dyson hair dryer, of course, and there’s a wireless charger, so you can charge your phone while getting a grooming.

I was so comfortable because I could go outside without putting on makeup since I was ready with a mask!

I applied the prepared lotion to my body and used hair essence for hair care.

Because it's Dyson, my hair dried very quickly.

And looking at the brush that is clean and well-maintained without a single hair or speck of dust, I could once again feel that it is being properly taken care of.

Today, I tried the real gold course at 'Spa Haume.'

I was satisfied to be able to receive private care in a clean and luxurious space.

Thoughtful attention was felt everywhere, and especially thanks to the professional management and caring service, both my body and mind felt at ease.
