2024 Andong International Mask Dance Festival is a special festival held under the theme of 'Dance of Culture Bringing the World Together'.

When wearing a mask, I can discover a new me and communicate more deeply with others outside of my daily life.

2024 Andong International Mask Dance Festival will be a true festival that people around the world can enjoy together based on the meaning of these masks and mask dances.


2024 Andong International Mask Dance Festival offers a special journey to experience different cultures through a variety of masks and 'Mask Dance Performance' from all five oceans and six continents around the world.

Here you can enjoy not only simple viewing, but also the lively performances of 'Street Theater' full of laughter and satire, and the festival's main attraction, the vibrant performances of the 'Mask Play Troupe'.


Try on a mask yourself and learn mask dance with your body through the 'Learn Mask Dance' program, and parades marching the streets with performance groups from all over the world and citizens make this festival even more dynamic.

The 61st Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival, held every autumn, is a representative festival where you can vividly experience Korean traditional culture, unfolded at Suwon Hwaseong, which is listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.

This festival is a historic cultural tourism festival that embodies the filial piety of the great king of the Joseon Dynasty, King Jeongjo, and his dream of making the country even stronger, providing a special experience where the past and present of Korea harmonize.

At the Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival, you can enjoy a timeless journey through a variety of programs that reinterpret the life and culture of the Joseon Dynasty in a modern way.
