At Because Friends, you can take photos by yourself using a remote control, allowing you to capture your charm more comfortably.
The studio is divided into two booths: the darakbang(attic) booth and the event booth, where you can take some unique photos.

Things to Keep in Mind
Please make sure to be punctual for the reservation time and date.
The reserved time indicates the starting time of the photo shoot. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for preparation and waiting.
For additional options such as original copies and photos of different sizes, you can confirm the actual samples on-site and make payment at the studio.
In the event of lateness, the shooting time will be deducted, and if the delay exceeds 10 minutes or there is a no-show, the reservation will be automatically canceled, and refunds will not be provided.
Please note that the retouching service is available for pick-up until 16:30 on the same day. For pick-up after 16:30, please visit the studio on the following day.
Photo prints will be kept for up to one month, so please make sure to collect them within one month.
You will receive two edited photos via the email address provided in your reservation information.
All prices are based on 2 people. Additional costs will be incurred for extra people and should be paid on-site.
For a single person shoot, the price for 2 people applies.
When accompanied by infants or pets, the price for 1 person will be charged.
There are no size, weight, or species restrictions for pets, as long as they can be controlled.
Event options change concepts quarterly.
Retouching time typically takes about 1-2 hours but may vary depending on the situation on-site.

During Photoshoot
When taking photos, please allow about a 3-second delay between pressing the remote control button, as pressing it too quickly may cause it to stop.
Do not touch any equipment other than the camera. The camera angle is fixed and cannot be moved.
Pulling the remote control forcefully may cause the camera to fall over.
Props must be put back in place after use.
If you damage the camera, you may be held responsible by the studio.

For a solo photoshoot, the price will be the same as for 2 people. If you are accompanied by a baby or a pet, it will be considered as 1 person.

Our Visit
Today, we are going to introduce Because Friends Seomyeon Branch, located in Seomyeon. Because Friends Seomyeon Branch offers darakbang (attic) booth and event booth, allowing you to choose the booth based on your preference when making a reservation.
There were two teddy bear dolls, and the winter-themed teddy bear doll can be taken as a prop for your photoshoot.
Just like many other photo studios, Because Friends also has a decorated photo zone in the store. After receiving the photos, you can take a picture in this adorable photo zone!
Before you start the photo shoot, you can choose some props. Keep in mind that selecting props might take a bit of time, so you should arrive earlier than the reservation time. The editor will take photos for both the darakbang concept and the event concept today. Let's start with the photo shoot in the darakbang concept !
The darakbang studio felt like climbing up to a real attic. On the day our editor visited, it was raining heavily, and when it rains or snows, you have to take off your shoes to go up.
As our editor entered the darakbang, she noticed some important guidelines for the photo shoot, which are generally applicable anywhere. One of the key points to be particularly cautious about is to delay the time of shooting for about 3 seconds when pressing the shutter during the shoot. If you press it too quickly, it might stop the shot. Plus, during the shoot, avoid touching any equipment other than the remote control. The camera angles are fixed, making it difficult to move them around. Other guidelines include not pulling the remote control too hard or mishandling it, as you may be held responsible for any damages. Also, remember to return the props to their original places after use.
Once the staff sets the timer and leaves, now you can start the photo shoot.
After taking each photo, you can check it immediately on the screen in front of you. This allows you to monitor whether the focus is properly set and whether your facial expression and poses look natural. You can make adjustments as needed to get the perfect shots.
Now, our editor will take photos in the event concept. Once the staff finishes the preparation, she entered the set and listened to the instructions and guidelines. After that, just like before, they will set the timer, and you can start taking the photo.
Since it feels awkward when you take photos alone, our editor brought in a large teddy bear doll. The bear's cheerful expression helped to ease the awkwardness, and the photos turned out great! For couples visiting the studio, taking various concept shots with scenarios could be really fun!
Once the photo shoot is completed, you don't have to check the photos on the monitor in the shooting room. You can conveniently select the photos after the shoot from outside.
Inside the store, there are two sets of chairs and laptops available. You can use them to select your photos.
There are guidelines for the photo selection at the front of the desk. The photo selection time is a total of 15 minutes, and photos marked with a heart in the gallery cannot be grouped together. Because Friends provides 2 retouched versions, and if you wish to purchase the original copies, you will need to make an additional payment. The original copies will be sent within 3 days.
After taking all the photos, our editor sat down at the designated area under the staff's guidance. She chose two photos to be retouched using the paper provided on the left side. The staff marked the places where you need to fill out, making it easier to fill them out.
Since our editor took photos in two concepts, she chose two photos for each concept. If there are many photos that turned out well and you want additional retouching, you can check the corresponding option on the paper provided and make an on-site payment. Also, since the retouched photos will be sent via email, you need to make sure to provide your email address! After making her selections, she handed the paper to the staff. Depending on the store's situation that day, the staff informed me to come back to pick up the photos after about 2 to 3 hours. The editor visited before 16:30, during the morning hours. Since it's Seomyeon, there are plenty of things to do while waiting for the photos!
Our editor revisited the store after 2 hours, and first, they showed our editor the retouched photos and asked if there are any additional adjustments she would like. However, the retouch was done so well that she didn't need any additional adjustments. Once the retouched versions are confirmed, they will proceed to print the photos, and we only needed to wait for about 5 to 10 minutes for the prints.
After waiting for about 10 minutes, the photo prints were ready. Now, you can head to the photo zone to take some pictures!
