Our Visit

Today, we visited Daehan Hanbok, a hanbok rental shop located in Gyeongbokgung. It is very accessible, located right where you can see it as soon as you come out of exit 4 of Gyeongbokgung Station.

As soon as we entered the entrance, we saw hanboks hanging in the sunlight. Especially, the blue hanbok skirts were shining even more brilliantly in the sunlight!

If you have a drink with you, please put it on the shelf on the right before entering. This will prevent staining the hanbok and also allow you to comfortably choose your hanbok.

There are caution signs in English, Chinese, and Japanese written on the shelf above where you can place your drinks. We recommend that you read them before renting a hanbok!

On the left side of the notice board, there are various souvenirs made in Korean traditional patterns and styles, so it would be meaningful to purchase them. You could actually take ou

There are mannequins dressed in hanboks throughout the store, which can be helpful when choosing a hanbok.

It was cool to see 800 hanboks in one room with our own eyes. From traditional hanboks to premium hanboks, there seemed to be no end to the selection.

In addition to hanbok, various accessories such as hanbok shoes and bags are also available.

There are hair examples on the dressing table. It would be helpful to look at those photos and decide on a hairstyle!

The accessories are shining brightly. If you choose accessories that match the hanbok you've chosen and put them on your head, your photos will come out really well :)

Even though I just looked around the store, time passed by in the blink of an eye. It was especially meaningful since it's a place that even Koreans don't have the chance to see and enjoy on a regular basis. Now, we'll wrap up with the photos taken at Daehan Hanbok!

How to Get There

Please come out from exit 4 of Gyeongbokgung Station. You will see the sign for "Daehan Hanbok" right behind you.

Please proceed straight towards the back of the exit.

Please take a left turn at the first alley.

After making a left turn at the first alley, go up to the second floor of the building right in front of you, and you'll have arrived!
